 By accessing or using our website, programs, online accounts, or communication services, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services We Provide

Gem State Tennis Academy offers tennis training, group sessions, private lessons, tournaments, digital content, player evaluations, scheduling tools, and communication services, including SMS notifications.

Our services include:

  • Program registration and payments
  • Player development tracking
  • Online accounts for players and parents
  • Lesson scheduling and rescheduling tools
  • SMS notifications for weather alerts, schedule updates, tournaments, and evaluation availability
  • Community and academy events

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to register yourself.
 Parents and legal guardians may register minors and agree to all terms on their behalf.

3. Accounts & Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your login secure
  • Notify us if your account is accessed without permission

We may suspend accounts that violate our policies.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

Payments for lessons, programs, tournaments, or memberships are processed at the time of registration.

Refund Policy:

  • Cancellations made 72+ hours before an event may receive credit or refund depending on the program.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable.
  • Weather cancellations are credited toward future sessions.

All refunds are at GSTA’s discretion unless required by law.

5. Scheduling & Cancellations

We may adjust schedules due to:

  • Weather
  • Coach illness
  • Court availability
  • Safety concerns

We will notify you via SMS, email, or website updates.

6. SMS Notifications & Consent

By registering for any program or creating an account, you agree to receive SMS messages related to:

  • Lesson confirmations
  • Weather cancellations
  • Tournament reminders
  • Player evaluations
  • General academy updates

Message frequency: 1–5 messages per week depending on activity.
 Message & data rates may apply.

You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
 Reply HELP for assistance.

Parents provide SMS consent for minors.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Misuse our website or systems
  • Attempt to disrupt or hack our services
  • Use our content or data for unauthorized purposes
  • Harass staff or other participants

Violations may result in removal from the academy without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the website — including graphics, logos, training material, evaluations, curriculum, and digital tools — is owned by Gem State Tennis Academy.
 You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without permission.

9. Waiver of Liability

Participation in athletic programs carries inherent risk.
 By registering, you acknowledge:

  • You (or your child) participate at your own risk
  • GSTA is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damages, except where prohibited by law

You agree to release GSTA, its coaches, and staff from liability relating to injury or property damage.

10. Communication and Data Storage

We may store:

  • Profile information
  • Attendance
  • Evaluation scores
  • Tournament results
  • Communications related to academy operations

We do not sell personal data.

11. Termination

We may suspend access to our services if:

  • You violate these terms
  • Payments are not completed
  • Your behavior creates a safety concern

You may stop using our services at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
 Continued use after updates means you agree to the revised Terms.
